At The Tuition Centre we recognise the challenges faced by primary school teachers in delivering instruction across a wide range of subjects to students of a diverse range of abilities. We are delighted to put in place some supports for 4th, 5th and 6th Class students who feel they need some extra assistance with Maths. Our dedicated tutors can provide One-to-One assistance for your child. You can let us know in what areas your child might need assistance, and all grinds will be tailored specifically to those needs.

4th Class Maths Grinds
Our tutor will lay the foundations for excelling in the Drumcondras / SIGMA -T assessments. We will ensure your child masters the basics of addition, subtraction and multiplication. As the grinds progress and your child gains in confidence, the tutor will move onto mastering more complex mathematical skills such as problem solving. By year end, your child will have the confidence to begin 5th class Maths and will have begun the process of preparing for secondary school.
5th & 6th Class Maths Grinds
Our 5th and 6th Class grinds are designed to improve your child’s maths skills, help them perform in assessments and get them ready for that big leap to secondary school. Their tutor will build upon the fundamentals of maths progressing to fractions and word problems. Basic algebra as well as area and volume will also be introduced in order to ensure a head-start for 1st year Mathematics at second-level.

€50 per hour class for general subjects.
