2nd Year Maths Grinds

Has your child found 2nd year Maths far more difficult than 1st year Maths? Very often, the introduction of challenging topics such as Algebra, Trigonometry and Sets can make students feel that they have gone backwards. At The Tuition Centre, we aim to support the work of your child's teachers by providing weekly lessons, weekly online assessments, end-of-topic assessments and by keeping you - the parent - in the loop at all stages.

Our Head of JC Maths, Anita, believes that students often struggle with 2nd year Maths as there is a greater emphasis on testing than in 6th class. Our 1st year programme provides weekly, online tests that provide instant feedback to students and parents. All lessons are recorded and can be viewed as often as students like. Tests can be retaken as often as students wish to help build confidence.

The Maths Tutor has broken down the entire Junior Cycle Maths curriculum topic by topic into video lessons, notes and practice exam questions. Students can study each course and topic or purchase the entire curriculum as a bundle. The Maths Tutor allows you to study your Junior Cycle Maths curriculum in your own time with video lessons, notes and worked solutions for past exam papers.
