Jacob Hogan
Jacob graduated from the University of Limerick in 2020 with a Bachelor of Technology (Education) in Graphics, Engineering and Technology. He has been teaching these subjects at Junior and Senior Cycle since and has a real understanding on the key features of quality needed for success.
Jacob’s teaching style focuses on clear instruction, personalized feedback, and exam-focused tips and tricks to help you build confidence in the subject and perform at your best. He enjoys helping students reach their individual goals and his proven approach has helped Leaving Cert students achieve brilliant results.

What will be covered:
In this Masterclass, Jacob will provide a comprehensive breakdown of the key components required for success in both the portfolio and the physical model of the Leaving Certificate Technology Design project. He will explain and breakdown the marking scheme for each element in detail, offering valuable insights into the critical features that examiners prioritize.
The project is worth 50% of the overall Leaving Certificate Technology grade (25% for the portfolio and 25% for the physical model), and this class, along with the accompanying notes, serves as a detailed checklist and guide to help you achieve full marks in both components.
