Gillian Chute
Gillian has been preparing students for their Leaving Certificate English exams for 20 years. She holds a Degree and Masters in English, History and International Relations from University College Cork. She has worked as an Assistant Examiner with the Department of Education, a Tutor in UCC and was Head of English at Hewitt College, Cork for 8 years before establishing Gillian Chute Leaving Certificate English. Gillian regularly provides commentary and analysis on Leaving Certificate English to various media outlets.
Gillian provides students with a straight-forward approach to learning course material and, most important of all, equips them with the method for excelling in their exams. Her vision is to simplify Leaving Certificate English by focusing on exam technique, not just learning the course material - this ensures that students attain the highest grade that they are capable of.
