What will be Covered:
Lock-In the Topic of Nutrition for the LC Ag. Science Exam. Nutrition can affect soil, crops and animals making it one of key topics for LC 2025 that should not be ignored.
In this 5 lesson course, you will cover the cross-cutting theme of nutrition in depth across all 4 strands of the agricultural science curriculum. You will master soil nutrients and how fertiliser, slurry and FYM can impact them, animal nutrition and how their needs change at different stages, and animal digestion and how this is different for monogastric and ruminant animals. You will also cover silage and hay-making by looking at how the nutrition of the grass is preserved during this process.
