Easy tips to help you maximise your marks for the Irish essay (Paper 1):
1. For every noun, add two adjectives:
Tráthnóna duairc, dorcha a bhí ann...
2. Remember to include a couple of seanfhocail (suitable for each title):
Is fíor fós an seanfhocal:
“Is fearr cara sa chúirt ná punt sa sparán!”
3. Include an excellent intro (réamhra) saying what you’re going to say and an excellent conclusion (conclúid), reminding the examiner what you’ve said.
