Do you want to maximise your points in the Leaving Cert? Many students, for a variety of reasons, take on an extra subject for Leaving Cert. The Tuition Centre provides the opportunity for 5th year students to do this from the comfort of your own home. These subjects are taught over 2 years, so students must sign up from 5th year in order to cover the course. The reason our students perform well in extra subjects is because the teachers cover the course with the exam in mind at all time. They strip away the unnecessary sections of each subject, and focus solely on the topics most likely to appear in the exam with the aim of increasing  exam performance and  results. Teachers identify likely exam questions and also show students how to master them.
We are confident that our excellent Applied Maths teacher, Mr Sean Murphy, can guide you through this extra subject. Sean has been teaching Maths, Physics and Applied Maths to Leaving Cert Honours level for the last 13 years. As chairman of the Cork/ Limerick branch of the IMTA he has organised MathsFest in Limerick and TEAM Maths Quizzes for Leaving Cert students. Sean was a member of the subcommittee that worked on the submission to the NCCA on the new Applied Maths course that is being examined for the first time in 2023.

Our students love us

A big thank you to Mr O'Leary. His lessons gave me fundamental maths skills, excellent exam tips and advice and confidence in my maths ability. Mr O'Leary's advice, "when you don’t know what to do, do what you know“ helped me to start all exam questions, and that first step led the way to a grade I am so proud of.
Thanks so much to Eoghan for all his support over the last 2 years. Thanks to Eoghan, I got a H2 in the exam. I am delighted.
Can’t thank Eoghan enough for all his help. He answered every question I had and I’m 100% sure, I wouldn’t have got a H1 without his help. Thank you so much.
Highly recommend Mr. O’Leary’s classes. Such a nice person who puts in so much effort to each lesson. He gives time to each student and answers every question! Really good environment in the classes which also encouraged everyone to work hard.
